"Magne ist Gast in der neuesten Episode des norwegischen Musik-Podcasts Popkammeret, der von Einar Stray moderiert wird.

Er spricht über den Aufnahmeprozess seines neuen Soloalbums Living With Ourselves, die Geburt von Apparatjik, das Musizieren von Filmen und verschiedene andere Themen.

Die einstündige Episode enthält auch die Songs "Living With Ourselves", "Look How Far We Haven't Come" und "This is Now America".

Magne sagt, dass dieses Podcast-Interview die erste externe Promotion ist, die er für das neue Album gemacht hat, und dass weitere Promotionen möglicherweise begrenzt sind.

In Japan wird Living With Ourselves am 22. Januar 2025 auf CD erscheinen. Es wird einen Japan-Only-Bonustrack, "I'm In (MF Demo) ", als Track 12 enthalten. Noch kein Wort zu einem europäischen Veröffentlichungsdatum.

Sechs Tracks des Albums wurden bisher digital veröffentlicht, das neueste ist "Time is on Your Side", ein Duett mit Tini Flaat."

Mittlerweile gibt's noch einen dritten Ausschnitt mit englischen Untertiteln

I've listened to the album several times so I take the opportunity to give my opinion , I haven't had the chance to do yet.

So, here's my point of view as a fan.

Look how far we haven't come and You won (and then some) have something in common, not in the music but in the fact that fans wonder how it could sound sung by Morten, so it always comes back to the same thing in the heads of a-ha fans, that is to say that Magne writes great songs but Morten sings 1000 times better! And the fans who bought the album did it to listen to his solo work.When you buy an album of Magne it's not to listen to Morten voice that's logical!There's a lack of objectivity among fans that bothers me a bit. I have no regrets in my decision to have bought the album and living With Ourselves is my favourite.This is the only song that is representative of a solo work.I like really much the orchestration of Hold The Line.
