    4 Tage für 20 Unterstützungspost sollten in meinen Augen keine Hürde darstellen. Es zeigt aber leider, dass das Forum seine besten Tage lange hinter sich hat, weil sich die Mehrheit der aktiven Fans nur noch in den sozialen Netzwerken tummeln. Hätte ich die selbe Aktion auf Facebook gepostet, dann wären in 30 Minuten schon locker mehr Kommentare erfolgt, als wir es hier nicht mal in vier Tagen geschafft haben.

    Last but not least war ich selber überzeugt das die Aufgabe gelingen wird.

    I'm surprised to see that a few fans (those who own well-known fan sites) logged in and refused to participate. Why? Did they receive instructions, who knows?
    I'm very grateful for what you do for this forum, however, you underestimated something (and I told you so) : the holidays!

    Hier nun der Beweis auf den Angelo so lange gewartet hat und einige von euch ebenso. Auch wenn die Challenge nicht erfolreich war, gibt es hier nun etwas auf die Ohren. Allerdings ist dies ein privater Bootleg, welche im Jahre 1991 mit einem geschmuggelten Walkman mit Aufnahmefunktion entstanden ist. So klang das damals und wir können über jede Qualität froh sein, gibt es uns einen Einblick in die Live-Band a-ha, welche leider viel zu wenig in der Zeit selber mitgeschnitten bzw. veröffentlicht hat.

    Trotz aller qualitativen Einschränkungen viel Spaß beim Anhören.

    A-hadmin Thanks so much!:thumbup:here's proof that the song really existed in 1991!I'm amazed by this live version despite the sound quality but, it's normal cause it's a bootleg.

    I can easily imagine it on the album East of the Sun West of the Moon, with its very organic atmosphere. It has a very Doors (Riders on the Storm) feel, unlike the pop version on the album.

    To get quality sound, this song should be released on a deluxe édition or a limited edition.:)

    Thank you SO much. Wonderful to hear that version. The song was played live in 1989, but the short-lived 1991 version might be even better. Thank you for giving us access to that marvel.

    Der Song hätte auch wunderbar in die NRK-Session gepasst, die die Band ein halbes Jahr vorher aufgenommen hatte. Ich musste mir selber nochmal zum Vergleich die Album-Version anhören und sie kommt nicht ansatzweise an diese spannende energiegeladene Version heran, wobei es produktstechnisch zum "SOTR" Album passt. Diese organische Version wäre ein würdiger Titel für mind. "EOTSWOTM" gewesen.

    I hope you are right. I mean, so far, the "additional" (deluxe/live...) output by a-ha is relatively limited.

    While post-2000 Depeche Mode, for example, have released a live album for every tour, a-ha have yet to release a complete live concert album (apart from MTV Unplugged), even though we know that, e.g., Ullevaal 2002, Vallhall 2001, Frognerparken 2005, Royal Albert Hall HHAL/SD 2010 and Afterglow 2016 were recorded, among many others for sure. This is really disappointing.

    I also wonder what is preventing them from re-releasing SOTR and MB on vinyl.

    a-ha Live at Vallhall was released on DVD in 2001.To my knowledge, a-ha records all of its concerts so there are therefore a great deal of material available. I sincerely believe in the release of deluxe editions in the near future.I'm convinced that an a-ha comeback (including a new album and concerts) is possible.:)
