“I accepted the offer to sing here because it’s an important occasion in the art world. But at the time I said yes, I had not decided on the repertoire. This fall has been busy, and time has passed very quickly, and suddenly it was only a couple of weeks to go. I still had no idea what to perform, (tja ja, so ist er , unser Morty :)) and I told Magne about this and said to him: “This crowd is actually somebody you can relate to, since you have been working in the art department. You can decide what I should do.” “Let me think about it,” Magne answered. One night he calls me in the middle of the night, and he says:” In front of such a dignified audience you must simply pick something from the kitsch stronghold. They all deserve that. You must sing something from Queen,” Magne claimed. Consequently that’s what I’ll do. It is 10 years ago since Freddie Mercury died, so this is also a homage to him,” Morten concluded his speech.
Morten singt Freddy Mercury – wow! Das ist nicht gerade eine leichte Übung. Kann er das? Dem Publikum scheint es gefallen zu haben.
