Review aus dem englischen Forum:
Wow. I've just got back home and all I can say is that it was a fantastic night at the SBE, the guys were in top form and definately looked like they were enjoying themselves!
The warm up act as a little better than I had expected, even though I don't think anyone had heard of them. However the crowd didn't really get going until A-Ha came on themselves.
The guys played a range of tracks old and new including:
Summer Moved On
Take On Me
The Living Daylights (a new arrangement by the sounds of it)
Hunting High and Low
Cry Wolf
I've Been Losing You
Manhatten Skyline
Dark Is the Night
Move To Memphis
Stay On These Roads
Celine
Birthright
Cosy Prisions
White Dwarf
Analogue
The Sun Always Shines On TV
(not the exact order they played them in and I may have missed one or two out)
The atmosphere was amazing once the guys came on and despite not been as close to the front as I would have liked I did manage to get some reasonably good photos (which I will post up and share once I've worked out how lol). Morten looked like he was very much enjoying this concert and in fact they all seemed to have smiles on their faces or be laughing in between tracks. The crowd was really big, but the good thing was that nearly everyone was singing along to the tracks. The best part for me came when they started to play Take on Me and Morten calls out "I think some of you might know this" - the whole crowd just seemed to take over the singing of that track, and the same happened with the Living Daylights.
Despite being an A-Ha fan for 20years this was the first time I'd actually seen them in concert. All I can say is it won't be the last! Bring on the next tour, cos I want more.
To those forum members I met at Oneills and the SBE (Karen, Kate, Simon, Darren, Susan)- it was great to meet you all and now be able to put faces to some of the names on here. Hope you all had a great time too and look forward to reading your experiences on here and seeing your photos when you get them up. Here's to the next concert/tour/signing.
