Hört sich verdammt nach dem Sommerhit an. Gar nicht schlecht.

ZitatCheck Out Kygo’s Trop House Spin On A-Ha’s Take On Me
By John Cameron
Nobody holds down the market for tropical house remixes of classic songs quite like Kygo. The Norwegian DJ/producer’s particular brand of feel-good summer music has lent itself quite well to the work of artists like Marvin Gaye and Blackstreet, and his remix of A-Ha’s ’80s hit “Take On Me” further proves the versatility of his style.Kygo’s trademark woodwind and xylophone-inspired synths set the relaxed tone for the remix, which borrows little more than the vocal top line of the original. While it in no way betrays his usual style, Kygo’s “Take On Me” remix doesn’t stand out as his strongest work, either, as its simplistic nature seems to lack the ear worm quality present in many of his other productions.
A-Ha’s members also famously hailed from Norway, which perhaps provided Kygo further reason to remix that track in particular. However, we’d really like to see a collaboration between him and Cashmere Cat, our other favorite Norwegian electronic music artist. While neither has expressed any intentions of teaming up on a track, we’ll continue to keep our fingers crossed.
For the time being, you can listen to Kygo‘s remix of A-Ha’s “Take On Me” through Apple Music.

ZitatPreview: A – Ha – Take On Me (Kygo Remix)
Pranav Gupta
August 27, 2015After dishing out some brilliant original tracks, Kygo is back on remixing duties. And this time, he takes Norwegian band A – Ha‘s hit single ‘Take On Me‘, turn it over and gives it a fantastic tropical house remix.
Kicking off with tropical house synths and bird chirping samples, the remix progresses with Morten Harket’s mellow vocals and subtle marimba beats, turning this remix into an aural paradise for the listeners. This is Kygo back to his best, and we can only expect even better remixes from the Norwegian down the line.
The remix has been previewed officially on Apple Music, and you can listen to it here, or here below. You can also check out the original version of ‘Take On Me‘ from 1985.
Ich finde den echt gut. Hat so eine Leichtigkeit! Beine ins Wasser u.
"Come on over
have some fun
a-ha will always take you on
their music all times feels so good
and we are in the mood
a-haaaa feeling ..."
